An AMBER Alert is a notification to the general public, through 88.1 KTFY and other media outlets in Idaho and the U.S. that a child has been abducted. Alerts are only issued when police confirm that a child has been abducted. Statistics show the first three hours after a child's abduction are most critical to recovery efforts.
